Malaysia Visa Processing Time
Understand when processing starts, what we do, and what Immigration handles. Plan your travel accordingly and avoid confusion.
Important: When Does Processing Time Actually Start?
Processing time DOES NOT START when you submit your application to us. It starts only after we successfully submit your complete application to the Malaysia Immigration portal. Before that, time spent reviewing documents, requesting corrections, and waiting for your submissions is not counted as processing time.
Official Processing Times
These times apply AFTER successful submission to Immigration
Regular Processing
Standard processing timeline
4-6 Working Days
From Immigration submission date
- Suitable for planned travel
- Most economical option
- Recommended processing speed
Express Processing
Expedited processing timeline
2-3 Working Days
From Immigration submission date
- Faster decision from Immigration
- For urgent travel requirements
- Higher processing fee applies
Two Distinct Stages of Visa Processing
Understanding each stage helps you plan better
Stage 1: Our Responsibility
What happens before submission to Immigration
Document Collection
We collect all required documents from you according to your specific visa requirements.
Document Review & Vetting
We carefully review every document to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with Immigration requirements.
Document Verification
We verify that all documents are authentic, valid, and meet Immigration standards.
Submission to Immigration Portal
Only after all above steps are complete, we submit your application to the Malaysia Immigration portal.
Processing Time DOES NOT Start Here
Important: If you don't provide required documents immediately, or if there are any corrections needed, the submission will be delayed. This delay is not counted as part of the official processing time because Immigration hasn't received your application yet.
Stage 2: Malaysia Immigration Processing
Processing time officially starts here
Application Under Immigration Control
Once submitted, your application is fully under the control and jurisdiction of Malaysia Immigration Department.
Immigration Processing (4-6 or 2-3 Working Days)
Immigration reviews, processes, and makes a decision on your application. This is the official processing time.
Immigration May Take Longer Than Expected
While our timelines are 4-6 working days (regular) or 2-3 working days (express), Malaysia Immigration may occasionally take longer than usual due to high application volumes, security reviews, or administrative reasons. This is completely beyond our control. We cannot influence, expedite, or interfere with their decision timeline. Please plan your travel accordingly and avoid tight schedules.
Check Your Junk & Spam Folder
Important: Approval emails and important notifications sometimes end up in your junk or spam folder. Please check your junk/spam folder regularly during the processing period. Mark our emails as "not spam" so future emails reach your inbox. If you haven't heard from us, check your spam folder first.
No External Influence
We cannot influence, speed up, or interfere with Immigration's processing. Their decision timeline is final.
Decision & Notification
Immigration will approve, reject, or request additional documents. We will inform you of the outcome immediately.
Processing Time Starts & Ends With Immigration
Key Point: Only the time Immigration takes to process is counted. Repeated follow-up emails or inquiries will not change Immigration's processing timeline. Patience is required.
Beyond Our Control During Stage 2
Once your application reaches Malaysia Immigration, it is entirely out of our hands. Immigration authorities have sole discretion over processing timelines. High volumes, security checks, or administrative delays may occur. We are NOT responsible for delays caused by Immigration.Your patience and understanding during this stage is appreciated.
Common Reasons for Delays (Stage 1)
These delays happen BEFORE submission and don't count toward processing time

Documents that are blurry, too dark, or difficult to read
Late Submission
Applicant delays in providing documents when requested

Frequently Asked Questions
When exactly does the 4-6 working days start?
The 4-6 working days (or 2-3 for Express) starts from the date Immigration receives and processes your application. This is AFTER we successfully submit it to their portal.
Can we speed up Immigration's processing?
No. We cannot influence Immigration's decision timeline. They process applications in their own sequence, and everyone gets treated equally.
What if Immigration asks for additional documents?
If Immigration requests additional documents, we will contact you immediately and request them. The new timeline for review and resubmission will begin after you provide them.
Why didn't I get my visa within 4-6 days of applying to you?
Because Stage 1 (our processing) must be completed first. The 4-6 days only counts AFTER successful Immigration submission, not from when you first apply to us.
What happens if my documents are incomplete when I submit?
We will request the missing documents. You must provide them promptly. This entire process does not count toward the official Immigration processing time.
Should I email Immigration repeatedly to speed things up?
No. Repeated inquiries do not speed up processing and may actually cause complications. Patience during Stage 2 is essential.
I haven't received approval email after 6 days. Where is my visa?
First, check your junk and spam folder immediately - approval emails sometimes go there. If it's not there, contact us with your application reference number. Immigration may take longer than the estimated timeline due to various reasons beyond our control.
Can I hold you responsible if Immigration takes longer than 4-6 days?
No. Once your application is submitted to Immigration, the processing timeline is entirely their responsibility. We have no control over their decision timeline. The 4-6 days are approximate estimates, not guarantees.
